Agnese Galiotto
Agnese Galiotto (Chiampo, 1996) is painter and filmmaker. She graduated from the Brera Academy of Fine Arts and Städelschule – Hochschule für Bildende Künste Frankfurt.
Her practice combines the ancient technique of fresco painting and film. Both mediums are tools that allow her to develop stories and elaborate installations that engage with the exhibition space. Her research explores her relationship with her closest companions, family, friends, animals, in relation to the passage of time.
Her works have been exhibited at GAMeC – Galleria di Arte Moderna e Contemporanea di Bergamo, II Lazzaretto Foundation Milan, Kumho Museum of Arts Seoul, Jeju Biennial, Frankfurter Kunstverein, Kunsthal Gent, Palmengarten Frankfurt, BFI SouthBank London. She participated in Dolomiti Contemporanee art residency, Gapado AiR artist residency program (KR) and Wonderful! Art Research Program at Museo Novecento, Florence.
