Agnese Galiotto
(Chiampo, 1996) is painter and filmmaker. She graduated from the Brera Academy of Fine Arts (IT) and Städelschule in Frankfurt (DE).
Her practice combines the ancient technique of fresco painting and filmmaking. Both mediums are tools for her to develop narratives and elaborate immersive installations. Her research explores her relationship with her closest companions, family, friends, animals, in relation to the passage of time.
Her works have been exhibited at GAMeC, Galleria di Arte Moderna e Contemporanea di Bergamo, Kumho Museum of Arts Seoul, Jeju Biennial, Frankfurter Kunstverein, Kunsthal Gent, Palmengarten Frankfurt, BFI SouthBank London. She participated in Dolomiti Contemporanee art residency (IT) in 2021 and Gapado AiR residency program (KR) in 2022.
